About Regis Sauger
At one point in my life, I couldn’t pay my bills, and went through a lot of the hassles you might be encountering now. In the process, I became fascinated with credit and how average people are affected by it. I was a man with a mission, and I have spent the last nine years researching the law, writing articles, and helping people just like you to escape from credit prison.
I am seventy-three years old, a retired PGA golf professional, a licensed Florida Mortgage Broker, author, national speaker, expert witness in US Bankruptcy, Oakland County and Michigan Circuit Courts, and I have advised insurance settlements relating to credit issues.
I do not hide any information from anyone, and I am dedicated to guiding you through the system, helping you raise your credit score, and eliminating the “grief” caused by scary bill collectors.

The Credit Professor
They call me “The Credit Professor”, and my articles on consumer credit have been viewed by over 23,000 readers, and published in hundreds of newsletters nationally. I have conducted seminars for attorneys, bankers, underwriters, accountants, mortgage professionals, real estate professionals and the general public. Even my stepson, who is an attorney in Michigan, calls the “old man” occasionally for credit advice.
Today a lot of folks think that I am one of the top experts in the country on credit. I have appeared on the Larry King Internet Radio Show, Fox TV-4 News and WINK Radio and have been featured on websites all over the world. My articles have even been featured in an Oprah Winfrey show on credit. Am I smarter than anyone else? Nope, not at all. I am just dedicated to sharing knowledge, and I guess that being older and having white hair doesn’t hurt.
The personal stories I share in this book are all true. I asked my attorney son if I would be exposed to libel or slander suits when I started writing this book. He said, “Dad, as long as you tell the truth, don’t worry”. So, the stories I share with you are either based on my personal experience, or have been the experiences of others, used with their permission.
Are you ready to fix your credit?
This book is the culmination of my research and life experiences, and I think it’s invaluable for deciphering foreclosure problems that have surfaced recently. The people that I talk about in this book are real live people with whom I have had a working relationship, and their names have been changed to protect confidentiality.
I created Get Out Of Credit Prison as a “learn at home” program, where you can do the research and work privately, and at your own pace. You can take your time, you can look for specific situations and you can even invite your brother-in-law over to help. (Unless he is like the typical brother-in-law who “knows it all,” which results in nothing.)
Is it complicated? Well, if you have trouble understanding the inner workings of our system, keep reviewing this book – you will learn so much about credit that you could even turn out to be the family or neighborhood “guru.”
What are you waiting for?
